Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the launch of the 2023 Hness CB350 and CB350RS in our market with prices starting from Rs. 2.10 lakh onwards. Here are the top details of the newly launched 2023 Honda CB350RS.
What’s new on the 2023 Honda CB350RS?
The biggest addition comes in the form of the on-board diagnostics system that will be mandatory in all two-wheelers from 1 April, 2023. Then, the company has also enhanced rider safety with the addition of the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). This signalling system activates all turn indicators (hazard light function) if the rider brakes in an emergency to alert the vehicles behind. Further, the RS variant now gets a Bluetooth module – a feature that was already available in the Hness CB350.
Meanwhile, the feature list retained from the previous version comprises full-LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, hazard lamps, a traction control system, dual-channel ABS, a USB charging port, and an assist and slipper clutch. The company has also added optional accessory packages for this motorcycle – Café-Racer Custom and SUV Custom. These optional accessories, which will be sold via Honda BigWing dealerships by the end of March 2023, will come with a one-year warranty.
Have the mechanical specifications changed on the 2023 Honda CB350RS?
While the 2023 model benefits from the mandatory on-board diagnostics system, the motorcycle continues to use the 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 20.78bhp at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 30Nm at 3,000rpm.
Is the hardware on the 2023 Honda CB350RS different?
Similar to the engine specifications, the hardware, too, remains similar to the previous motorcycle. Thus, the 2023 Honda CB350RS continues to ride on telescopic front forks and twin rear springs to handle the suspension duties. The braking setup includes a 310mm single disc at the front and a 240mm single rotor at the back. The safety net, as mentioned earlier, comprises dual-channel ABS and a traction control system. Then, the RS trim rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels that are shod in 100/90-section and 150/70-section tubeless tyres, respectively. The motorcycle is built around a half-duplex cradle frame and tips the weighing scale at 179kg (kerb).
Does the 2023 Honda CB350RS get any styling revisions?
The styling remains unaltered and the 2023 Honda CB350RS continues to feature a retro design that comprises a round headlight, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, a flat handlebar, and a side-slung exhaust with a chrome heat shield. Do note that, unlike the Hness CB350, the RS trim gets a black finish to the garnishing around the headlight, exhaust pipes, and canister. The colour options comprise four paint themes. The DLX variant is available in two colours, while the DLX Pro is listed in two paint options. Check out the variant-wise paint options in the table below:
Variant | Colours |
