- Honda CBR500R updated for 2023
- Comes with new colours
- No word about its India launch timeline
Honda has unveiled its 2023 motorcycle range which also includes the CBR500R that goes up against the Yamaha R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in international markets.
For the new model year, the Honda CBR500R comes with new colour schemes. The fully-faired motorcycle can be had in the iconic Grand Prix Red. This paint scheme consists mainly of red with white and red graphics. In this colour, the CBR500R looks similar to its bigger sibling, the CBR650R. Apart from this, the motorcycle is also offered in Sword Silver Metallic which combines grey and black with bright yellow highlights.
Other than the updates to its colour palette, the 2023 Honda CBR500R remains the same as the previous model. It comes powered by a 471cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 47.5bhp and 43Nm. As for features, it is kitted with full-LED headlamp, ABS, a slipper and assist clutch and an LCD instrument cluster as well.
While the motorcycle will be available in international markets soon, there is no word about its Indian launch timeline. The company had the CB500X on sale in India, however, it was taken off the shelves a year ago. That said, we can expect Honda to launch its 500cc range in the country in the next couple of years.
