Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the launch of the OBD2-compliant Dio in our market. This 110cc scooter is now available in three variants, and the colour options vary depending on the version selected.
The base model, for example, is available in three options – Sports Red 2, Jazzy Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. The mid-spec Deluxe version, too, is listed in three colours – Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Matte Sangria Red Metallic. Lastly, the top-spec model, which features the Honda Smart Key, is listed in Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and the new Matte Dark Blue Metallic.
The Deluxe and Smart variants also benefit from new alloy wheels, while the base model uses metal units. Meanwhile, the hardware across the range includes telescopic front forks, a three-step-adjustable rear suspension, and drum brakes on both wheels. The mechanical specifications, too, are identical across all variants, and the 2023 Honda Dio uses an OBD2-compliant, 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.65bhp at 8,000rpm and 9Nm of peak torque at 4,750rpm.
The base model is priced at Rs. 70,211, while the Deluxe and Smart variants are available at Rs. 74,212 and Rs. 77,712, respectively. All variants are available with the special 10-year warranty package (three years standard + seven years optional extended).
