Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the launch of the 2023 Unicorn in our market. This 160cc commuter-segment motorcycle is available in a single variant and four colour options.
The paint themes available in India include Imperial Red Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Pearl Igneous Black. All colours feature a single-tone finish and pack a body-coloured headlight cowl and front fender. Further, all options carry a 3D logo on the fuel tank and Unicorn branding on the rear panels. Meanwhile, the styling remains unaltered, and the 2023 Unicorn retains elements such as a single-pod headlight, body-coloured front cowl, tinted flyscreen, single-piece seat, and side-slung exhaust.
The mechanical specifications on the 2023 model include an OBD2-compliant, 162.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 12.7bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 5,500rpm. This motor also complies with E20 fuel requirements. Meanwhile, it also retains the five-speed gearbox. The feature list is basic, and the 2023 Honda Unicorn uses a halogen headlight, a fully analogue instrument cluster, single-channel ABS, and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
As mentioned above, the 2023 Honda Unicorn is available in a single variant, and it has been priced at Rs. 1,09,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer is offering a 10-year warranty with this motorcycle. This includes three years of standard warranty with the option of extending it by seven more years.
