- Priced at Rs 7.12 lakh
- Available in a single variant
- Gets a two-level traction control system
The recently launched 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has started reaching dealerships in the Indian market. This motorcycle was launched in our market at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 7.12 lakh, making it Rs 17,000 more expensive than its predecessor. For that premium, the 2023 version gets an updated rider aid package with the addition of a two-level traction control system.
This feature is also available on the 2023 Z650 that is on sale in the international markets and it should arrive in India very soon. Additionally, the safety net, similar to the previous version, continues to include dual-channel ABS. Other features include an LED headlight, LED taillight, and Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display.
The 2023 Ninja 650 is currently available in a single paint option, Lime Green, in our market. In comparison, the international markets get the same model in three colours – Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with Ebony, Pearl Robotic White with Metallic Matte Flat Raw Graystone and Ebony, and the KRT edition that uses Lime Green paint with Ebony.
This Japanese motorcycle does not have a direct threat in the Indian market. However, it competes in the same price range as the newly launched Moto Morini X-Cape and Seiemmezzo.
