Kawasaki has revealed the 2023 iteration of its supercharged sports touring motorcycle, the Nina H2 SX SE. This motorcycle has been launched in the United States at USD 28,000 (Rs 23 lakh). Kawasaki has made several updates to this motorcycle and it now comes with radar-based technology. The radar tech brings additional features such as adaptive cruise control, blindspot detection, and forward collision warning.
The list of comprehensive electronic rider aids includes Vehicle Hold Assist (VHA), Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension with Showa Skyhook Technology (KECS), power modes, integrated riding modes, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), traction control (KTRC), launch control mode, anti-lock brake system (KIBS), engine brake control, quick-shifter (dual direction), LED cornering lights, grip heaters, and tyre pressure monitoring system. The lighting is full LED, while the 6.5-inch colour TFT display is Bluetooth enabled and the system works with the Kawasaki SPIN infotainment app. Further, this motorcycle gets a remote key fob.
The styling cues comprise a projector-style headlight, rear-view-mounted front turn indicators, full fairing, a muscular fuel tank, a split-style step-up seat, and a side-slung exhaust. The colour palette comprises one option – Emerald Blazed Green with Metallic Diablo Black and Metallic Graphite Gray.
The motorcycle is powered by a 998cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a supercharger that delivers a maximum torque of 137Nm. The hardware comprises a trellis frame, 43mm upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, twin discs at the front, and a single disc at the back.
