Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the 2023 Z900 in our market at Rs 8.93 lakh. The changes to the 2023 model are limited to cosmetic upgrades in the form of two new paint themes – Metallic Phantom Silver with Metallic Carbon Gray and Ebony with Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray. Both these colours are available at the same price tag.
The styling, features, and mechanical specifications remain unaltered and the 2023 Z900 continues to pack the Sugomi design. The styling elements include an aggressive headlight, a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, a step-up seat, and a side-slung exhaust.
Meanwhile, the electronic rider aids include a traction control system, power modes, riding modes, and ABS. The feature list comprises full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display. The motorcycle retains the BS6-compliant 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 123.6bhp at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The Z900 rivals the likes of Ducati Monster, BMW F900R, and Triumph Street Triple range in the Indian market.
