Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the 2023 Ninja ZX-10R in our market at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 15.99 lakh. The 2023 iteration of the motorcycle will be available in a single variant and two colours – Lime Green and Pearl Robotic White. Both paint options are available at the same price tag.
These two colour options also use different graphics across the bodywork. The design and the specifications, on the other hand, remain similar to the 2022 version and the 2023 Kawasaki ZX-10R continues to pack a twin-pod headlight at the front, winglets that are built into the upper cowl, rear-view-mirror mounted front turn indicators, a full-fairing, and a side-slung exhaust. The feature list retains full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display.
The mechanical specifications continue to pack the BS6-compliant 998cc, inline-four cylinder, liquid-cooed engine that produces 200bhp at 13,200rpm (210bhp at 13,200rpm with RAM Air intake) and 114.9Nm of peak torque at 11,400rpm. The electronic aids comprise four ride modes, electronic cruise control, traction control, and ABS among others.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R rivals the likes of BMW S1000RR, Ducati Panigale V4, and Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade in India.
