The newly-launched 2023 Kawasaki ZX-10R has started to arrive at the dealerships in the Indian market. The 2023 iteration of the flagship supersport model was launched in our market in a single variant and two colour options at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 15.99 lakh.
The 2023 model comes in Lime Green and Pearl Robotic White options, both available at the same price tag. These two colour options also use different graphics across the bodywork. The iconic Lime Green colour incorporates Kawasaki Green with black and red graphics. The Pearl Robotic White, on the other hand, packs green graphics and black highlights.
The design and the specifications are identical to the 2022 version. Thus, the 2023 Kawasaki ZX-10R retains a twin-pod headlight, winglets that are built into the upper cowl, rear-view-mirror mounted front turn indicators, full-fairing, and a side-slung exhaust. Plus, the feature list retains full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display.
The motorcycle also continues to use the BS6-compliant 998cc, inline-four cylinder, liquid-cooed engine that produces 200bhp at 13,200rpm (210bhp at 13,200rpm with RAM air intake) and 114.9Nm of peak torque at 11,400rpm. Meanwhile, the Kawasaki ZX-10R rivals the likes of BMW S1000RR, Ducati Panigale V4, and Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade in India.
