Kawasaki has unveiled the 2023 iteration of its middleweight supersport motorcycle, the Ninja ZX-6R for the international markets. The changes to the 2023 iteration are limited to cosmetics in the form of colour options.
Internationally, the Ninja ZX-6R is sold in two variants – ABS and non-ABS. Both variants are available in two paint options. The Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black paint theme is available on both variants while the Metallic Matte Twilight Blue with Metallic Diablo Black colour is only offered on the non-ABS version. The non-ABS variant is priced at USD 10,699 (Rs 8.45 lakh) while the ABS version is available at USD 11,999 (Rs 9.47 lakh) in the US market.
The design remains unchanged, and the 2023 Ninja ZX-6R continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, full-fairing design, muscular fuel tank, step-up seat, and a side-slung exhaust. Meanwhile, the hardware retains 41mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down front forks, Showa rear monoshock, twin 310mm disc brakes at the front, and a single 220mm rotor at the back.
The feature list comprises an LED headlight, LED taillight, ABS (optional in select markets), power modes, quickshifter (upshift only), and traction control system. Mechanical specifications, too, remain unaltered and the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R continues to use a 636cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine.
While the motorcycle is available in several international markets, it is not likely to arrive in India in the foreseeable future.
