- 2023 KTM 200 Duke priced at Rs 1.92 lakh
- Available in two colour options
- No changes to features or hardware
KTM has recently launched the 2023 200 Duke in India with a price tag of Rs 1.92 lakh, ex-showroom.
The motorcycle is now equipped with the hardware to make it OBD2 compliant and costs Rs 902 more than the previous model. Other than this, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke remains the same. It is offered in a choice of two colour options- Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic. While the Electronic Orange is teamed up with black, the Silver paint scheme gets orange as well as subtle hints of blue on its bodywork.
The styling remains the same. It is meant to look lightweight and aggressive at the same time and sits on the iconic trellis frame done in orange. The KTM 200 Duke is equipped with an LED DRL and halogen headlamp but comes with LED lighting for the turn signals and tail lamp. Powering the motorcycle is a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill that produces 24.67bhp and 19.3Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a conventional clutch.
That said, the cycle parts on the 200 Duke are quite premium and the bike is equipped with WP Apex suspension setup. It sports 43mm upside-down forks at the front and a 10-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking, on the other hand, comprises a single disc with ByBre calipers at both ends. The braking setup is accompanied by dual-channel ABS.
Competition for the KTM 200 Duke comes from the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS200. It also goes up against other motorcycles like the Suzuki Gixxer SF250 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350 that fall in the same price bracket.
