KTM India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the OBD2-compliant 390 Adventure. The changes to the 2023 version are limited to the addition of necessary hardware to comply with the newest emission norms. Notably, the new version of the motorcycle carries a price premium over its predecessor.
What are the prices of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure in India?
This variant of the 390 Adventure range is now available at Rs. 3,38,746, making it marginally more expensive than the previous version which was priced at Rs. 3,37,043. As reported earlier, the standard variant of the sub-500cc adventure tourer motorcycle is joined by a more-affordable variant, the 390 Adventure X, in our market. This version of the 390 Adventure range is available at Rs. 2,80,652.
Does the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure get styling revisions?
The styling remains unaltered, and the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure retains the split-style LED headlight, short windscreen, engine cowl, 14.5-litre fuel tank, split-style seats, side-slung exhaust, and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The standard version of the motorcycle is listed in two colours – Atlantic Blue and Dark Galvano Black. For reference, the 390 Adventure X, too, is listed in two colour themes – Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black.
What are the mechanical specifications of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure?
The 2023 model retains the mechanical specifications from the previous version. Thus, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure range continues to use the 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine with a dual overhead camshaft. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor delivers a maximum output of 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
What hardware does the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure use?
Similar to the engine specifications, the hardware remains unaltered as well, and the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure range continues to use a steel trellis frame with a bolted sub-frame. Both variants use 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to handle the suspension duties. Meanwhile, the braking setup comprises a 320mm single disc with a radially-mounted calliper at the front and a 230mm single disc with a floating calliper at the rear.
