KTM has updated its 390 Adventure with the addition of the Spoked Wheel Edition. With this, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure will be sold in two options – spoked-wheel and cast-wheel editions. The new variant of the sub-500cc adventure tourer, as the name suggests, gets wire-spoke wheels instead of alloy units on the standard model. Further, the 2023 iteration also updates the styling in the form of new graphics and an orange colour for the trellis frame. Here, we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure.
The biggest upgrade is the addition of wire-spoke wheels that enhance the ruggedness of this motorcycle. The dimensions are similar to the alloy edition and this new variant uses a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel. These are shod in Continental TKC70 tyres.
Meanwhile, the standard variant of this motorcycle will retain the existing black anodised aluminium rims. The paint options for both variants will include two choices – black with orange and blue with orange.
The styling upgrades include a new KTM decal on the fuel tank and the ‘Ready To Race’ sticker under the rider’s saddle. The front fender also gets the ‘WP’ decal. Then, the trellis frame uses an orange shade while the bolted sub-frame continues to feature a black colour.
The specifications and hardware remain unaltered, and the international-spec model retains WP Suspension APEX hardware that features adjustability for compression, rebound, and preload. The braking tasks are handled by a 320mm front and a 230mm rear rotor that work with BYBRE-sourced calipers.
The mechanical specifications continue to include the 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 43bhp of maximum output and 37Nm of peak torque. The electronics comprise ride-by-wire, traction control, cornering ABS, off-road mode, LED lighting, and a five-inch colour TFT display.
