KTM has launched the new off-road focused 390 Adventure in India, priced at Rs. 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure features adjustable front and rear suspension and spoke wheels.
The company has finally answered the prayers of off-road enthusiasts by offering spoke wheels on the 390 Adventure. The motorcycle gets black anodised aluminium spoke wheels that are sturdier and lightweight. While the front gets a 19-inch rim, the rear features a 17-inch unit.
That said, the biggest draw is the adjustable suspension on offer. The WP Apex front forks feature 30 clicks of compression and rebound adjustability. Meanwhile, the front suspension travel stands at 170mm.
On the other hand, the rear WP mono-shock offers 20 clicks of rebound adjustability and 10-step preload adjustability. The rear gets 177mm of suspension travel.
The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure comes with a new Rally Orange colour scheme. This paint theme is inspired by KTM’s Dakar rally bikes and is limited to only the new spoke wheels version.
Mechanically, the new 390 Adventure retains its 373cc liquid-cooled motor that makes 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm at 7,000rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox, assisted by a slipper clutch.
The motorcycle comes loaded with advanced rider aids, and is the most feature-packed offering in its segment. It gets a traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, a quickshifter, off-road ABS with Supermoto mode, and ride-by-wire throttle.
Other features include full-LED lighting and a colour TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It also features a USB charging socket and a GPS mount.
