- Priced at Rs. 2.80 lakh
- Misses several features that are available on the standard model
- Available in two colours
KTM India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the more-affordable 390 Adventure X in our market. This variant of the company’s sub-500cc adventure tourer gets fewer features which has allowed the Indian arm of the Austrian manufacturer to price the motorcycle more competitively. Previously, we brought to you the top five highlights of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure X and its detailed image gallery.
Here we explain the colour options that are available for the adventure tourer in our market. KTM India has launched this variant of the 390 Adventure series in two colours – Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black. The paint themes and graphics on the X variant are noticeably different from the standard version of the motorcycle. The Galactic Blue paint features bold colours, while the Galvano Black option has a stealthier look. Notably, both variants get a blacked-out look to the chassis, sub-frame, and alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, the styling of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure X is similar to the standard motorcycle. Thus, this new variant continues to use a split-style headlight with twin LED DRLs, a short windscreen, a 14.5-litre fuel tank, split seats, a side-slung exhaust, and 19-inch front/17-inch rear alloy wheels that are shod in tubeless tyres.
The features on the X variant that have been retained from the standard model include full-LED lighting, switchable ABS, a slipper clutch, and a 12V USB charger. However, unlike the premium version, this budget-friendly alternative uses an LCD screen that misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. This variant also misses the traction control system, riding modes, cornering ABS, and a quick-shifter.
All the cost-saving measures have allowed KTM India to price this variant of the 390 Adventure range at Rs. 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Do note that this is an introductory price tag, and KTM India will revise the ex-showroom price soon.
