- Priced at Rs. 2.80 lakh
- Gets fewer features than the standard model
- Rivals the BMW G 310 GS in India
KTM India has introduced a budget-friendly and more-accessible version of its 390 Adventure range in our market. This new variant, christened as the 390 Adventure X, has been priced at Rs. 2.80 lakh. Previously, we brought you the top five highlights from the Indian launch of this adventure-tourer motorcycle. We also listed the on-road prices of the version in the top 10 cities across India. Here, we present a detailed walk-around video of the new KTM 390 Adventure X to bring you an up-close look at the styling, features, and specifications of this BMW G 310 GS rival.
As reported earlier, this variant of the 390 Adventure range packs fewer features than the standard model. Thus, this variant gets an LCD screen instead of a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display on the standard 390 Adventure. The electronic rider aids, too, are fewer on the 390 Adventure X, and this motorcycle only gets a dual-channel ABS with off-road mode and a ride-by-wire throttle.
The mechanical specifications, too, are identical across the 390 Adventure range. Thus, the X variant retains the 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine that makes 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
The 390 Adventure range rivals the likes of the BMW G 310 GS in the Indian market. Meanwhile, the competition will extend with the arrival of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 which is expected to arrive in the second half of 2023.
