- KTM 390 Duke priced at Rs 2.97 lakh
- Offered in two paint schemes
- 2023 model uses same 373cc engine
KTM India has launched the 2023 390 Duke in the country. The new model is priced at Rs 2.97 lakh, ex-showroom and features a few tweaks to its hardware that make it OBD2 compliant.
While the update has brought about a price hike of around a thousand rupees, the KTM 390 Duke remains nearly the same as before. Featuring a styling that has been picked up from its bigger sibling- the 1290 SuperDuke sold internationally, the 390 Duke is sharp and aggressive. The bodywork is minimal and sits on KTM’s iconic trellis frame. The 2023 KTM 390 Duke is now offered in two colour options. You can either have the motorcycle in Dark Galvano, consisting mainly of a fully blacked body with subtle orange graphics on the tank and a full orange frame.
Or, you could also opt for the Liquid Metal colour scheme with an orange tank, rear section and fuel tank while the tank shrouds and front fender are black. In our opinion, this colour looks similar to what the 250 Duke was offered with before.
That said, apart from the onboard diagnostics (OBD2) system which monitors real-time emissions, the 373cc single-cylinder engine remains unchanged. So, it continues to be rated at 42.9bhp and 37Nm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch as standard. In terms of electronics, KTM continues to offer a quickshifter, switchable ABS, ride-by-wire and a TFT instrument console too. The display shows all the necessary readouts and gets smartphone connectivity for convenience.
