- Gets revamped design
- Likely to make the same amount of power and torque
- Equipped with a larger LCD
KTM is set to extensively revamp its Duke line for the upcoming year. The 2023 KTM 390 Duke was spotted testing overseas back in June and now the 2023 KTM 200 Duke too made an appearance in India. Here’s what we know about it.
Compared to the current model, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke will look much more aggressive. The test mule was equipped with a split LED headlight, new bodywork, and an updated sub-frame. Even with the camouflage wrap, the tank shrouds add to the overall sharpness of the design.
KTM is unlikely to change the power output for the upcoming 200 Duke. It’s a 199.5cc liquid-cooled motor developing 25.4 bhp and 19.5 Nm (for the current model). So, you can expect a slightly different tune and changes in the power delivery with the same numbers.
For the hardware setup, the front USD forks look the same but the monoshock is now offset. The front disc too appears larger than the current one and the wheels resemble the new RC 390’s units. Elsewhere, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke test mule was also equipped with a large LCD instrument cluster, and new longer mirror stalks.
We expect KTM to make an official announcement sometime early next year. The 200 Duke rivals the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj NS200.
