What are the mechanical specifications of the 2023 KTM RC 390?
The 2023 KTM RC 390 retains the 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with Bosch electronic fuel injection system. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 42.9bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 37Nm at 7,000rpm. The gearbox benefits from an assist and slipper clutch mechanism. KTM claims that the curved radiator with fans aims to deliver better heat management. Now, the previous version returned a fuel economy of 26.6kmpl in Bikewale’s internal tests, and the new model, with similar power output and kerb weight, should deliver a similar figure.
What are the styling cues on the 2023 KTM RC 390?
The styling cues, as mentioned above, remain unchanged as well. Thus, the 2023 KTM RC 390 continues to feature a single-pod headlight, a MotoGP-inspired styling, a 13.7-litre fuel tank, a clip-on-style handlebar, split-style seats, a side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends. Then, the handlebars' height cant be adjusted by 10mm. The motorcycle is listed in two colour options on the company’s website – KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Electronic Orange.
What features does the 2023 KTM RC 390 get?
The feature list is identical to the previous version, and the 2023 KTM RC 390 retains a dual-channel ABS with supermoto mode and cornering function. The electronics also comprise motorcycle traction control and a quick-shifter. Other premium features on this motorcycle include full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display.
What hardware does the 2023 KTM RC 390 use?
The motorcycle is built around a tubular split trellis frame with a bolted sub-frame. It uses upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to handle the suspension duties. Meanwhile, the anchoring tasks are handled by a 320mm single disc with a radially-mounted calliper at the front and a 230mm single rotor with a floating calliper at the back. Other highlights of this motorcycle include a 13.7-litre fuel tank, 835mm of seat height, and a kerb weight of 172kg.
