The KTM RC125, like its siblings- the RC200 and RC390 has been updated in India to comply with the OBD2 norms and launched in the market recently. Now, in case you are looking to buy the motorcycle or comparing it with its rival- the Yamaha R15, we have listed everything you need to know about the 2023 KTM RC 125.
KTM RC125 Styling
The 2023 version of the RC125 is no different from the previous year’s model. In fact, the fully-faired motorcycle got its first major update last year and the new model continues with the same styling. Borrowing inspiration from the RC8 of yore, the RC125 follows the design language of its other siblings. It gets a large windscreen with a single headlamp that is fitted with halogen lighting to keep costs in check. However, it does get LED turn signals integrated into the bodywork and LED turn signals at the rear too. That said, the RC125’s step-up seat setup and hardware are all similar to the rest of the range.
KTM RC 125 Features
Now, the update hasn’t brought about any additions of reductions to the RC125’s feature list. So it retains the LED tail lamp and turn signal, single-channel ABS and an orange backlit instrument cluster too. In comparison to the Yamaha R15, the motorcycle is under equipped. The Yamaha comes with a Bluetooth-enabled cluster, traction control, quickshifter and full-LED lighting as standard.
KTM RC 125 Engine
When it comes to performance, the RC125 is undoubtedly quicker than most other 125cc options in the market- even though it is slightly pricey too. The motorcycle comes with a 124cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 14.7bhp and 12Nm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
KTM RC 125 Pricing
KTM has priced the 2023 RC125 at Rs 1.89 lakh, ex-showroom. This is an increase of Rs 902 over the previous price. Well, when compared to its rival- the Yamaha R15, the RC 125 is now around Rs 9,000 more expensive.
