- KTM RC 125 priced at Rs 1.89 lakh
- Available in two paint scheme
- Powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine
KTM India has updated the RC125 in the country to comply with the OBD-2 norms and is offered the motorcycle in a choice of two colour options. The price of the motorcycle remains unchanged and continues to sell for Rs 1.89 lakh, ex-showroom.
Now, these two colour schemes are similar to what the KTM RC 200 is available in. You can either have it in Dark Galvano which consists of a black base paint and orange highlights. Or, you could have it in Ceramic White which comes in a mix of white and orange that not only features on the tank but also on the fairing. Both options get orange wheels to add appeal.
The update has not brought about any major change to the RC 125. It retains its 124cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Mated to a six-speed gearbox the engine churns out 14.75bhp and 12Nm. Even the features are the same and include a single-channel ABS, LCD instrument cluster and LED lighting for the turn signals and tail lamp. The headlamp features an LED DRL but gets a primary halogen light.
As for rivals, the KTM RC 125, even with its smaller engine competes against the Yamaha R15 V4 just like its sibling the RC 200. But other than that, the RC 125 does not have any direct rival in its segment and continues to hold the title of being the sportiest fully-faired 125cc motorcycle you can buy in India.
