- QJ SRK 400 introduced in Europe
- Comes powered by a 400cc, parallel-twin engine
- Likely to be launched in India soon
Chinese manufacturer QJ Motors has unveiled the 2023 SRK 400 for international markets. The motorcycle is the brand’s entry-level parallel-twin offering that would go up against the KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha MT-03 and the Kawasaki Z400.
The SRK 400 is powered by a 400cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that churns out 41.5bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm at 7000rpm. However, its downside is its 176kg kerb weight, which is considerably heavier than its rivals. Adding to that, the bike is also longer and taller than the competition which could translate to relatively relaxed riding dynamics.
While its feature list, which includes full-LED lighting, a colour TFT screen and ABS is on par with the rivals, the design seems to be heavily inspired by the Kawasaki. It comes with sharp bodywork and a low-slung headlamp. Other design elements also include an exposed trellis frame and upswept tail section. Now, the 2023 QJ SRK 400 will be available in global markets soon and we expect it to make it debut in India sometime next year as well.
