Royal Enfield has announced the launch of the 2023 Himalayan in our market. The latest iteration of the motorcycle gets minor updates along with a revised colour palette that now includes three new colours. New Colours
For 2023, Royal Enfield has added three new colours to the Himalayan and this adventure tourer is now available in six colourways in the Indian market. The existing colour palette that comprised Gravel Grey, Pine Green, and Granite Black is now joined by Dune Brown, Glacier Blue, and Sleet Black colours. Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has discontinued the Lake Blue, Rock Red, and Mirage Silver paint themes from the list. Moreover, Royal Enfield has also added debossed logos on the grill and side panels of the motorcycle.
Updated Feature List
Apart from the colour palette, Royal Enfield has also updated the feature list and the 2023 Royal Enfield Himalaya gets a USB charging port. Meanwhile, the features retained from the previous version include a halogen headlight, LED taillight, semi-digital instrument cluster, a dual-channel ABS, and a Tripper Navigation system.
Price

Unchanged Styling
The styling, save for debossed logos on the grill and side panels, has remained unaltered and the 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to pack a round headlight, a tinted visor, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 15-litre fuel tank, split-style seats, rear luggage rack, side-slung exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels. Royal Enfield offers a wide range of accessories for this adventure tourer and the list comprises hard panniers, touring seats, knuckle guards, and more.
Same Engine Specifications and Hardware
The engine specifications, too, remain unchanged and the 2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to use a BS6-compliant 411cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that makes 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,000-4,500rpm. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension setup comprises 41mm telescopic front forks with 200mm of wheel travel and a rear mono-shock with 180mm of wheel travel. The braking setup includes 300mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes. This motorcycle rivals the likes of Yezdi Adventure and KTM 250 Adventure in the Indian market.
