Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced the launch of the 2023 Burgman Street in our market. The latest iteration of the 125cc scooter benefits from additional hardware to comply with the newest emission norms. Meanwhile, the styling remains unaltered and the scooter retains the aggressive styling as the previous BS6 version. However, Suzuki Motorcycle India has added the new Pearl Matte Shadow Green paint scheme to the palette, and the scooter is now available in five paint options. The Pearl Moon Stone Grey colour is only available in the standard edition while the Ride Connect edition features the Matte Blue paint. Meanwhile, the colour options common on both variants are Metallic Matte Black No. 2, Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red, Pearl Mirage White, and Pearl Matte Shadow Green. The styling cues on the 2023 Burgman Street comprise an apron-mounted headlight, wide-footboard, fly-screen at the front, apron-integrated front turn indicators, a step-up seat, single-seat pillion grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust with heatshield.
The mechanical specifications on both variants comprise the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor as the previous, BS6-compliant version. This engine delivers a maximum output of 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm. Suzuki Motorcycle India has added the On-board Diagnostics System to comply with the newest emission standards. The new system detects and informs about the faults in the vehicle system. Further, the updated model can run on E20 petrol, having an ethanol blend of up to 20 per cent. Check out the variant-wise prices in the table below:

The Suzuki Burgman Street faces direct competition from the Aprilia SXR 125 in the Indian market, while the Yamaha Fascino 125 and RayZR 125 are available in the same price range.
