Suzuki Motorcycles India has announced the launch of the OBD2-A compliant Burgman Street in our market with prices starting from Rs 93,000 onwards. This scooter features a maxi-scooter-inspired styling and rivals the likes of the Aprilia SXR 125 in the Indian market. Here we list the top five highlights of the 2023 Suzuki Burgman Street from its India launch.
How different are the 2023 Suzuki Burgman Street’s engine specifications?
The 2023 Burgman Street retains the 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor from the previous BS6-compliant version. The engine delivers a maximum output of 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and a peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm. However, from 2023 onwards, this Suzuki scooter will use an On-board Diagnostics System to comply with the newest emission standards. The new system aims to detect and inform faults in the vehicle system. Further, the updated model can run on E20 petrol, having an ethanol blend of up to 20 per cent.
How different is the styling and what colour options does the 2023 Suzuki Burgman Street get?
The changes to the 2023 Suzuki Burgman Street are limited to the addition of new hardware to comply with the new norms. On the other hand, the styling remains unaltered, with the 2023 Burgman Street continuing to feature a sharp design. It comes with elements such as an apron-mounted headlight, wide footboard, fly-screen at the front, apron-integrated front turn indicators, a step-up seat, single-seat pillion grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust with a heat shield.
The company has added the new Pearl Matte Shadow Green paint scheme to the palette, and this colour option is available on both variants of the scooter. Check out the complete list below:
