- Gets Bluetooth connectivity as standard
- Prices have increased by Rs 10,000
Suzuki Motorcycle India recently refreshed its portfolio by introducing new colour options for its quarter-litre, fully-faired offering, the Gixxer SF 250. Besides the new colour palette, Suzuki has also incorporated an updated Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster and the revisions have resulted in a price hike of Rs 10,000.
Amongst the three new shades of the Gixxer SF 250, the most eye-catchy is the Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue trim which boasts a mix of blue and silver livery with subtle red decals. Meanwhile, the other two colour variants including Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No. 2 look more understated and stealthier with milder decals.
On the mechanical front, the 2023 Gixxer SF 250 remains the same as the previous model. It is powered by a 249cc, oil-cooled motor that’s acclaimed for its refined and relaxed nature. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and produces 26.13bhp and 22.2Nm. Based on a diamond-type chassis, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking, meanwhile, is taken care of by a single at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The 2023 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs 2.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While it doesn’t have a direct rival in India, the closest that comes in terms of body style and displacement is the KTM RC 200.
