- Available in three variants
- Adventure variant gets hard panniers
- Base model comes with alloy wheels
Suzuki has unveiled several 2023 models for the international markets and the list includes the cosmetically updated V-Strom 650 middleweight adventure tourer. The motorcycle is available in three variants – V-Strom 650, V-Strom 650XT, and V-Strom 650XT Adventure.
The base model uses alloy wheels while the XT and the XT Adventure variants feature tubeless-tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels. Further, the Adventure variant comes with hard panniers. All three variants get different colours, and the top-spec V-Strom 650XT Adventure is available in Glass Sparkle Black paint with blue-anodised rims. The mid-spec V-Strom 650XT, meanwhile, is listed in Pearl Brilliant White livery which is further enhanced by gold-anodised wheels. Lastly, the base model is available in two colour choices – Pearl Vigor Blue and Metallic Matte Sword Silver.
All variants feature 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, twin discs at the front, and a single rotor at the back. The mechanical specifications include a 650cc, 90-degree V-twin, liquid-cooled engine.
In other updates, Suzuki is working on the V-Strom 650’s successor that is expected to arrive with a bigger engine. The motorcycle will reportedly use a 700cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that will develop 75bhp. Read more about the upcoming V-Strom 700 here.
