Triumph Motorcycles has launched the 2023 Bonneville Bobber in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 12.05 lakh. The changes to the 2023 version are limited to styling updates in the form of a new paint scheme. Here we list the top five highlights of the 2023 Triumph Bonneville Bobber.
New Colour
The latest iteration of the Bonneville Bobber gets an updated colour palette that now comprises four colours. The existing paint schemes like Jet Black, Cordovan Red, and Matte Storm Grey with Matte Ironstone are now joined by the new Red Hopper colour.
Prices
The motorcycle is available in a single variant. However, the paint themes affect the ex-showroom prices of the Bonneville Bobber. Below are the colour-wise prices of the 2023 Bonneville Bobber:
Jet Black: Rs 12,05,000
Red Hopper: Rs 12,18,000
Cordovan Red: Rs 12,18,000
Matte Storm Grey with Matte Ironstone: Rs 12,35,000
Design
The changes are limited to the updated paint theme. The styling cues, on the other hand, remain unaltered and the 2023 Bonneville Bobber retains a round headlight at the front, a semi-digital instrument cluster, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank with a chrome filler cap, a rider-only saddle, a chopped front and rear fender, slash cut design for the twin exhaust canisters, and wire-spoke wheels.
Engine
The mechanical specifications, too, remain unchanged and the motorcycle continue to use a BS6-compliant 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor produces 76.9bhp at 6,100rpm and 106Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The company claims a fuel economy of 22.2kmpl while the service intervals are scheduled at 16,000km/12 months – whichever comes first.
Hardware
The hardware includes 47mm Showa front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup comprises twin discs with Brembo calipers at the front and a single rotor with Nissin caliper at the back. The motorcycle rides on 16-inch wheels on both ends. Other key dimensions include 700mm of seat height, 12-litre fuel tank, and a kerb weight of 251kg.
