Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the Bonneville Speedmaster in India along with its bobber version aptly named the Bonneville Bobber. Now, the motorcycle is being offered in a choice of three paint options.
You can choose the Bonneville Bobber in Jet Black, which is the most affordable version at Rs 12.05 lakh, ex-showroom. Then there is the Cordovan Red paint that costs Rs 12.18 lakh. Both colours are single-tone options that feature on the fuel tank and come with blacked-out body parts.
Then there is the Sapphire Black with Fusion White paint scheme that complements the Speedmaster’s retro appeal and goes well with the chrome elements. This option will set you back by Rs 12.35 lakh.
Now, the Bonneville Speedmaster is based on the same platform as the Bobber. It gets a low, stretched-out look, cantilever rear suspension and pulled-back handlebars. However, the major differentiating factor is the Speedmaster’s pillion seat that is missing on the Bobber.
That said, the rest of the motorcycle is similar to its sibling when it comes to features and hardware. As for competition, the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster goes up against the Harley-Davidson Nightster in the country.
