The Indian arm of the British marque has introduced two variants of the 2023 Street Triple in our market. These include the entry-level R variant and the performance-spec RS model. Meanwhile, the two-wheeler maker has not introduced the limited-edition Moto2 variant in our market. Notably, this variant comes with bold colours and more aggressive ergonomics. The R variant is available from Rs. 10,16,640, while the RS version is listed at Rs. 11,81,410 onwards (both prices are ex-showroom, India). The Street Triple 765 R is available in two colour options in the Indian market – Silver Ice and Crystal White. On the other hand, the Street Triple 765 RS is listed in three paint themes – Silver Ice, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow. The ex-showroom prices vary depending on the colour option selected.

What are the mechanical specifications of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple range?
For 2023, Triumph Motorcycles has retained the 765cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. However, the company has retuned the motor to produce more power than its predecessor. The R variant, for example, now makes 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm and 80Nm at 9,500rpm. The higher-spec RS version, on the other hand, draws a maximum output of 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 9,500rpm from the same engine.
What electronic rider aids are available on the 2023 Triumph Street Triple range?
The latest iteration of the Triumph Street Triple range benefits from an inertial measurement unit (IMU) that brings electronic rider aids, such as cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, and wheelie control. Both variants also get full-LED lighting, a linked braking system, and a bidirectional quick-shifter. Then, the RS variant further benefits from a lap timer, cruise control system, a five-inch TFT display, Bluetooth module, and an additional ride mode (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider). Meanwhile, the base version gets four ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider) and uses an LCD with a TFT display.
Is the styling of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple different than its predecessor?
The 2023 Triumph Street Triple retains the silhouette of the previous version. However, the styling is sharper than before, and the 2023 version gets an aggressive design for the twin-pod LED headlight. The styling cues also include an aggressive design for the bodywork, a 15-litre fuel tank, a gullwing swingarm, and radiator cowls. The RS variant further benefits from a body-coloured belly pan and a pillion seat cowl with an interchangeable pillion seat and a lower chain guard.
What hardware does the 2023 Triumph Street Triple range use?
The base variant of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple range uses Showa 41mm separate function forks at the front and a Showa piggyback reservoir mono-shock at the back to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup on this variant includes twin 310mm front discs with a Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial calliper and a 220mm rear disc. Meanwhile, the RS version gets Showa–sourced 41mm upside-down down Big Piston Forks (BPF) at the front, and an Ohlins STX40 piggyback reservoir mono-shock at the back. The braking hardware on the RS version includes twin 310mm floating discs with Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc callipers at the front and a 220mm rear disc.
