Triumph India recently launched the 2023 Street Triple range. It’s available in two trims – R and RS. The Street Triple R is the more affordable variant of the two and is offered in two paint schemes – Silver Ice and Crystal White.
Like the RS, the R variant’s colours are single-tone options. The Silver Ice paint drapes the bike in a shade of grey with neon highlights, while the Crystal White covers the Street Triple R in white with red accents. Both options are pretty subtle and make the bike look enticing. But the Silver Ice colour costs Rs. 26,000 more than Crystal White.
Triumph has powered the Street Triple R with a 765cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 9,500rpm. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, it benefits from a bidirectional quickshifter.
The list of rider aids on the Street Triple R consists of cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, a linked braking system, wheelie control, and four ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider). It also uses an LCD with a TFT display.
Triumph has priced the Street Triple R at Rs. 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the White Crystal colour, whereas the Silver Ice paint theme is priced at Rs. 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
