- Indian launch on 15 March, 2023
- Bookings open across India
- Deliveries to commence from April 2023
Triumph Motorcycles has confirmed the Indian launch details of its newest middleweight roadster motorcycles, the Street Triple RS and Street Triple R. The 2023 range will arrive in India on 15 March, 2023. Do note that the pre-bookings for the new 2023 Street Triple RS and Street Triple R have already commenced and interested buyers can customise the motorcycles with the optional accessories via the online configurator. Unlike the international markets, India will get two variants of the 2023 Street Triple 765 range. Meanwhile, the limited-edition Moto2 variant will not be sold in our market.
This Ducati Monster-rivaling range from Triumph Motorcycles gets major updates in its latest form. The styling, for example, gets a sharper design for the twin-pod LED headlight that is inspired by the newest-generation Speed Triple 1200 RS. Similar to the international models, the India-bound Street Triple 765 R will be available in two colour options – Silver Ice and Crystal White. The complete colour range for the Street Triple 765 RS, too, will be sold in India. These include Silver Ice, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow colour themes.
The mechanical specifications get revised too. While the Street Triple 765 range retains the 765cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as its predecessor, the power output has increased. This motor is tuned to deliver 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm on the Street Triple 765 R. Meanwhile, the performance-spec RS version draws 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm and 80Nm at 9,500rpm from the same engine.
The pricing will be announced on 15 March, 2023. We expect the base model to arrive in the Rs. 9.5-10 lakh range. The more premium RS, on the other hand, could retail in the Rs. 11.50-12 lakh price bracket.
All prices are ex-showroom
