Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the 2023 Street Triple 765 RS and Street Triple 765 R in our market, with prices starting from Rs. 10,16,640 onwards. Do note that the Indian arm of the British manufacturer will not offer the limited-edition Moto2 variant in our market.
What variants of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 will be available in India?
Unlike the international markets, India will get the RS and R variants of the 2023 Street Triple 765 range. Meanwhile, the limited-edition Moto2 variant will not arrive in our market. The R variant has been priced at Rs. 10,16,640, while the more premium RS version, which benefits from additional features, is available at Rs. 11,81,410 (both ex-showroom, India prices). The styling cues on the 2023 Street Triple 765 comprise a sharper design for the twin-pod LED headlight that is inspired by the company’s flagship roadster model, Speed Triple 1200 RS. The 2023 Street Triple 765 range also gets an aggressive design for the bodywork, a 15-litre fuel tank, a gullwing swingarm, and radiator cowls. The RS variant further benefits from a body-coloured belly pan and a pillion seat cowl with an interchangeable pillion seat and a lower chain guard. The Street Triple 765 R is available in two colour options in the Indian market – Silver Ice and Crystal White. On the other hand, the Street Triple 765 RS is listed in three paint themes – Silver Ice, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow.
How different are the mechanical specifications of the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765?
While the 2023 Street Triple 765 range retains the 765cc, inline-three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as its predecessor, the power output has increased over the previous model. This motor is tuned to deliver a maximum output of 118.4bhp at 11,500rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 9,500rpm on the Street Triple 765 R. Meanwhile, the performance-spec RS version produces a maximum output of 128.2bhp at 12,000rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 9,500rpm from the same engine.

The feature list across the 2023 Street Triple range includes full-LED lighting, cornering ABS, a lean-sensitive traction control system, a linked braking system, wheelie control, and a bidirectional quick-shifter. The RS variant further benefits from a lap timer, cruise control system, five-inch TFT display, Bluetooth module, and an additional ride mode (Road, Rain, Sport, Track, and Rider). In comparison, the R variant receives four ride modes (Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider) and uses an LCD with a TFT display.

The more premium RS variant gets higher-spec braking and suspension components. The suspension duties on the RS variant comprise Showa–sourced 41mm upside-down down Big Piston Forks (BPF) at the front, and an Ohlins STX40 piggyback reservoir monoshock at the back. The braking hardware on the premium version includes twin 310mm floating discs with Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc callipers at the front and a 220mm rear disc. In comparison, the base model uses Showa 41mm separate function forks at the front and a Showa piggyback reservoir mono-shock at the back. In total, Triumph Motorcycles India will offer over 40 accessories for these motorcycles. What motorcycles does the 2023 Triumph Street Triple 765 rival?
The base model should arrive in the Rs. 9.5-10 lakh range, while the more premium RS could retail in the Rs. 11.50-12 lakh price bracket. The motorcycles, as reported earlier, will be launched in the Indian market in March 2023. Meanwhile, the deliveries are likely to commence in April 2023. The updated 2023 Triumph Street Triple range will rival the likes of the Ducati Monster, Ducati Streetfighter V2, BMW F900R, and Kawasaki Z900 in the Indian market.
