- Yamaha FZ-S V3 matte black launched
- Priced at Rs. 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Mechanicals remain unchanged
Yamaha has re-launched the 2023 FZ-S V3 in a new matte black colour scheme in India, priced at Rs. 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle has started arriving at Yamaha dealerships across the country, as the latest pictures suggest.
Yamaha FZ-S V3: Colours and variants
The matte black paint scheme is available only with the standard variant of the Yamaha FZ-S V3, while deluxe variants get the Metallic Grey, Metallic Black and Majesty Red colour schemes. Besides the matte black shade, the standard trim also comes in matte red and dark matte blue colours.
Notably, the pricing of the matte black variant remains unchanged compared to the other colours available on the standard trim. The matte black paint scheme receives silver accents on the tank shrouds, front fender, side panels and the exhaust cover.
Yamaha FZ-S V3: Engine specifications
Mechanically, the Yamaha FZ-S V3 remains unchanged. It uses the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that dishes out 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. The motor is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
Yamaha FZ-S V3: Suspension, brakes and wheels
Even the cycle parts are carried over in the 2023 Yamaha FZ-S V3. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a seven-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The motorcycle drops anchors with the help of a 282mm rotor at the front and a 220mm disc at the back. A single-channel ABS system is standard across the trims. The FZ-S V3 rides on 17/17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.
