What are the specifications and fuel economy of the Yamaha MT-15 V2?

As mentioned earlier, the MT-15 shares its engine with the R15. It’s the same 155cc liquid-cooled motor with VVA. The output figures are rated at 20.2bhp and 27Nm and the engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Overall, the MT’s motor is quite refined and rev-happy. Moreover, it’s quite frugal, too, since we got a mileage of 53kmpl during the BikeWale fuel-efficiency test. The number is brilliant considering how peppy and performance-oriented the MT-15 is. With its 10-litre fuel tank, the Yamaha streetfighter can clock about 530km in one go. However, the figure could vary as per your riding style and conditions. 

What are the colour options for the Yamaha MT-15 V2?

Yamaha offers the MT-15 in not one but six colour options. You can choose between Cyan Storm, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Racing Blue, Metallic Black DLX, Matte Blue, and Metallic Black. The tank decals, extensions, and alloys are draped in the same colours as mentioned above and contrast with the remaining bodywork. 

What are the variants, prices, and rivals of the Yamaha MT-15 V2?

Yamaha offers the MT-15 V2 in a single variant but its asking price varies according to the colours. So, the Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black are priced at Rs. 1,64,900, while the remaining four options cost Rs. 1,69,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). 

The Yamaha MT-15 has the KTM 125 Duke, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda Hornet 2.0, and Bajaj Pulsar N250 as its rivals.
