- 2023 R15 V4 unveiled in Indonesia
- Comes in a new Aggressive Grey paint scheme
- Remains mechanically unchanged
Yamaha has refreshed its line-up in Indonesia by launching the 2023 iteration of its small-size sportbike, the R15 V4. The motorcycle now comes in a new paint scheme which will be sold alongside the existing colour options.
The new colour of the R15 V4 is called the Aggressive Grey which sports grey bodywork accompanied by contrasting neon accents on the front fascia, side fairing, and the fuel tank. The alloy wheels are also finished in a neon shade which makes it look jazzy. Meanwhile, the older colour schemes go by the name Icon Blue, Tech Black, Icon Performance, and the retro-inspired 60th World GP edition.
In terms of equipment, it remains unchanged as it’s already one of the most accomplished motorcycles in terms of features and hardware. The list of features is as impressive as it can get with traction control, a quick shifter, Bluetooth-enabled LCD, LED lighting, and an assist and slipper clutch. Powering the bike is a 155cc, liquid-cooled, VVA-equipped engine that produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox.
In India, the prices of the Yamaha R15 V4 start from Rs 1,79,900 and go up to Rs 1,91,801 (both prices are ex-showroom) depending on the variant. Its closest competitor in terms of displacement and body style is the KTM RC 125.
