JawaYezdi Motorcycles launched their Royal Enfield Himalayan-rivalling Yezdi Adventure in the Indian market with ex-showroom prices ranging between Rs. 2,15,900 and Rs. 2,19,942. Previously, we brought you the top five highlights and all the colour options of the 2023 Yezdi Adventure. Here we list the alternatives that potential buyers can consider in a similar price range.
Royal Enfield Himalayan (Rs. 2,15,900)
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is a direct rival to the Yezdi Adventure in the Indian market. This adventure tourer is available in a single variant and six colour options. Similar to the Yezdi Adventure, the prices of the Royal Enfield Himalayan vary depending on the paint themes, and it is available from Rs. 2,15,900 onwards in the Indian market. This product from Royal Enfield uses a 411cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that delivers 24.3bhp and 32Nm of peak torque. The feature list is similar to its rival, and the Himalayan packs Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation System and a dual-channel ABS. However, unlike the Yezdi Adventure, this Royal Enfield product uses a halogen headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and bulb-type turn indicators.
Suzuki V-Strom SX (Rs. 2,11,600)
Suzuki Motorcycle India’s quarter-litre adventure-tourer, the V-Strom SX, is available in a similar price range as the Yezdi Adventure. However, unlike the Yezdi product, this Japanese adventure tourer comes with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels that are shod in tubeless tyres. The mechanical specifications on the Suzuki V-Strom SX comprise a 249cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled motor that delivers 26.1bhp and 22.2Nm. Further, the feature list on this motorcycle includes an LED headlight, a fully-digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and a dual-channel ABS.
Bajaj Dominar 400 (Rs. 2,24,783)
Bajaj Auto’s flagship product, the Dominar 400 is available at a marginally higher price tag than the Yezdi Adventure. For that price premium, the Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with premium hardware such as full-LED lighting, a fully-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, touring-focused accessories, and a power-packed engine. The motorcycle uses a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that delivers 39.4bhp and 35Nm of peak torque. However, unlike some of the other products on this list, the Dominar comes with 17-inch wheels on both ends, which limit its off-roading capabilities. Further, this product from Bajaj Auto misses Bluetooth connectivity.
Honda CB350RS (Rs. 2,14,856)
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India’s CB350RS is a neo-retro alternative to the Yezdi Adventure. This motorcycle uses a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 20.78bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. The feature list is at par with other products listed here, and the Honda CB350RS benefits from LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also gets additional features such as the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system and a traction control system.
Yezdi Scrambler (Rs. 2,07,900)
Buyers looking for an off-road-friendly scrambler-style motorcycle can consider the Yezdi Scrambler. This product from Jawa Yezdi uses the same engine as the Adventure. Thus, this motorcycle, too, comes with a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that delivers 28.7bhp and 28.2Nm. However, unlike the Adventure, the Yezdi Scrambler uses a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination, and this motorcycle is almost six kilograms lighter than its adventure-tourer sibling. The feature list is similar to the Adventure, and the Yezdi Scrambler uses full-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a digital instrument cluster. This product, however, misses the Bluetooth module and turn-by-turn navigation system.
