Bajaj Auto has updated its electric two-wheeler portfolio by launching the 2024 Chetak Premium and Urbane variants. While the former is priced at Rs. 1,15,001, the latter costs Rs. 1,35,463 (both prices are ex-showroom). Both these scooters can now be equipped with the new TecPac (optional) package to take benefit of several new features.
The most notable update received by the Premium variant is the inclusion of a new five-inch TFT screen. Moreover, the top speed of the e-scooter has gone up to 73kmph while the new 3.2kWh battery pack offers a maximum range of 127km, which is considerably longer than before. Bajaj is also offering an 800W charger onboard the Premium trim which facilitates the Chetak with 15.6 km range within 30 minutes. Other features introduced in the Chetak Premium include self-cancelling blinkers, left and right control switches, an electronic handle lock, and a seat opening switch. Not to forget, the boot space of the Chetak has also been increased to make it more practical.
The Chetak Premium buyers opting for the TecPac get to experience a slew of additional features like turn-by-turn navigation, onscreen music controls, call alerts, hill hold control, reverse mode, and the option to personalise the theme of the display. Notably, these features can be incorporated in the Urbane variant too by opting for the TecPac package which, interestingly, also bumps up its top speed from 63kmph to 73kmph.
The 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium will be available in three colour options - Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut. Meanwhile, the Urbane trim comes in a choice of four colours including Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black and Indigo Metallic Blue.
