- Gets a 2.9kWh battery and 113km of range
- Available in four different colours
- Comes with new features included in TecPac
Bajaj has re-launched the Chetak Urbane electric scooter in India. It now features a few tweaks over the previous version and here is what the updated Bajaj EV offers now.
On the design front, the Chetak Urbane looks the same as the Premium trim. It sports a round LED headlight, curvy body panels, a single-piece seat, and a flat floorboard. The retro appeal of the Chetak e-scooter is intact. However, it also gets a dash of modern features with the new TecPac. This gives the Urbane model features like hill hold, reverse mode, full smartphone connectivity package that includes tamper alerts, OTA updates, and more. Then, the TecPac also increases the Chetak Urbane’s top speed to 73kmph as opposed to the standard variant’s 63kmph.
Powering the Chetak e-scooter is a 2.9kWh battery with a maximum range of 113km. The charging time is four hours and 50 minutes. It rides on the same monoshock setup at the front and the rear while the brakes include a front disc and rear drum.
As of now, Bajaj has the 2024 Chetak Urbane listed on its official site at Rs. 1,15,001 and the 2023 Chetak Premium at Rs. 1,15,000 (both ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
