Bajaj Auto recently launched the 2024 Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber edition in India. The motorcycle gets cosmetic and feature upgrades for 2024. Let's take a look at its top five highlights.
Top changes
For 2024, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre version gets new graphics on the fuel tank, headlight cowl, belly pan, and tail cowl. The bike comes packed with features such as a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging port. It is also available in single-seat and split-seat variants
Design
The 2024 Pulsar 125's styling has remained unchanged. It continues with the age-old design, which has been more or less similar since the original Pulsar classic was launched. The bikini fairing, tank shrouds, and the pointy tail section lend a sporty feel to its design. However, the Pulsar 125 looks old compared to its modern rivals like the Raider 125 and the Xtreme 125R.
Engine specifications
Mechanically, the new Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber edition continues to be powered by a 124.4cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 10.8Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Cycle Parts
Being an entry-level commuter, the Pulsar 125 features basic hardware. It is suspended on telescopic forks up front and gas-charged twin springs at the back. Meanwhile, braking tasks are carried out by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the back.
Price and competition
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fiber edition is priced at Rs. 92,833 (ex-showroom). It competes against the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider 125.
