- Will get similar upgrades like the new Pulsar N250
- Expected to be launched in a few months
- Will rival the Gixxer SF 250
Bajaj Auto recently updated the Pulsar N250 in India. But, its semi-faired sibling, the Pulsar F250 is yet to receive the updates that its naked version gets. Well, there’s good news for the F250 fans, as Bajaj has confirmed to Bikewale that the new Pulsar F250 will be launched in India in a few months.
Bajaj prioritised the N250 launch as the company claims that the motorcycle has a better appeal in the naked streetfighter segment. That said, the Pulsar F250 will soon get all the features and upgrades from the Pulsar N250.
So, expect it to come packed with features such as a full-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, traction control system, and three ABS modes - Rain, Road, and Off-road. Each mode changes the ABS intervention, with it being at its highest in the Rain mode and its lowest level of intervention in the off-road mode. That said, the ABS cannot be switched off in any of the modes.
The new Pulsar F250 will come with 37mm USD forks and a wider 140-section rear tyre. Meanwhile, the braking hardware will remain unchanged. Powering the F250 will be the same 249cc, single-cylinder motor from the N250. The two-valve, oil-cooled motor makes 24.1bhp at 8,750rpm and 21.5Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj Pulsar F250 doesn’t have a direct rival, but will face competition from the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. As for its pricing, expect it to be priced a couple of thousands more than the Pulsar N250.
