- Priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom)
- Gets Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation
- Offers three ABS modes
Bajaj Auto has introduced a new variant of the Pulsar N160 in India. It gets upside-down forks up front, Bluetooth connectivity, and ABS modes. It is priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh which makes it the most expensive variant of the motorcycle, sitting above the dual-channel ABS trim which costs 1.33 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
Unlike the rest of the variants of the bike which get telescopic forks, this trim has been equipped with USD forks which should enhance the handling and stability. Moreover, the digital console of the bike is now Bluetooth-enabled which facilitates turn-by-turn navigation and other connected features. Further, the ride modes are essentially ABS modes which vary the level of intervention of this safety aid depending on the riding condition. It comes in three configurations including road, rain, and off-road.
The rest of the specifications of the new Pulsar N160 model remain the same as the rest of the variants. It is powered by a 164.82cc, oil-cooled engine that produces 15.68bhp and 14.65Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. With a low kerb weight of 152kg, it comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres. As for the hardware, it rides on 17-inch wheels with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 competes against the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S Fi, Honda X-Blade, Hero Xtreme 160 4V, and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
