Bajaj Auto is prepping to launch the new 2024 model of the Pulsar N250. The motorcycle was recently spied testing which revealed some new details about the bike, besides what we were already aware of. In that case, here’s a quick lowdown on all that we know about the bike so far.
Upside-down forks
The spy shots clearly reveal that the motorcycle will get upside-down front forks, as against the conventional forks in the existing iteration. These could be the same units used on the Pulsar NS200. While the motorcycle is already a great handler, the inclusion of USD forks might add to the stability and front-end feel of the bike.
Digital console
The motorcycle will get a fully-digital console as suggested by some of the previous spy shots and the fact that its smaller sibling, the N160 already comes with a digital display. This negative LCD unit will not only have more information to show but Bluetooth connectivity will also be on offer for smartphone pairing. This will be a welcoming departure from the previous dated-looking semi-digital console.
Same engine and cycle parts
Bajaj is expected to keep the engine and the hardware package of the bike unchanged. It is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that belts out 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm of peak torque. This unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch. Underpinned by a steel perimeter frame, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are brought to a halt via a single disc at both ends and dual-channel ABS.
New colours and higher price expected
While the overall bodywork of the 2024 Pulsar N250 seems to have remained the same, Bajaj might offer fresh colour options and new graphics for the bike. As a result of all these changes, the prices of the Pulsar N250 will certainly witness a hike. As of now, it is priced at Rs. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune).
