-Gets new LED headlight
-New digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity
-Prices expected to go up by a few thousands
The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 have been unveiled on the company’s social media platforms. The bikes get a few tech updates that bring them up to date with the competition in their respective segments.
The first update is a brand new LED headlight cluster with integrated DRLs. Bajaj has stuck with the inverted triangle design of the headlight cluster to maintain the NS’ identity while introducing the LED setup and it is neatly executed.
The other big tech update is in the form of a new digital instrument cluster. The reverse LCD setup gets Bluetooth connectivity and by using a dedicated phone app, riders can pair their phone with the instrument cluster. Upon doing so they can view incoming call and SMS notifications as well as turn-by-turn navigation to their desired destination.
Barring these tech updates the rest of the bike is the same, be it in the case of the Pulsar NS160 or the Pulsar NS200. The shape of the bodywork, the chassis, the USD fork and monoshock are all the same.
The NS160 is powered by a 160.03cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 17.03bhp and 14.6Nm. The NS200, on the other hand, has a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 24.13bhp and 18.74Nm. Both engines will be E20 compatible.
Bajaj is expected to reveal the prices of the bikes soon and considering the updated equipment, they should be dearer by a few thousand rupees.
