Bajaj has updated the Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 with a new LED headlight setup. Although the headlight periphery looks the same as before, the internals have been refreshed with a set of thunder-shaped LED DRLs followed by the main headlight in between. That said, the overall bodywork, and muscular body panels are retained on the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS models.
Powering the new NS160 is the same 160cc single-cylinder motor that makes 17.03bhp and 14.6 Nm. It is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The NS200 uses a 199cc single-cylinder engine that makes 24.13 bhp and 18.74 Nm and it is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The twins have also received a new digital display as a feature update. The console now features a speedometer, rev counter, odometer, fuel level readout, and benefits from smartphone connectivity. The latter gives you access to call and SMS notifications and more.
Both bikes, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 ride on USD front forks with a rear monoshock while the brakes include a front and rear disc with ABS. These brakes are mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
The asking price for the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is Rs. 1.46 lakh and the Pulsar NS200 retails at Rs. 1.57 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The NS160 rivals the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and Hero Xtreme 160R whereas the Pulsar NS200 goes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
