- Likely to get a new TFT instrument cluster
- Expected to feature an updated switchgear
Bajaj Auto is set to update the Pulsar NS160, as a prototype was recently spied testing in India. Spy pictures suggest that the motorcycle is likely to feature a new instrument cluster and an updated switchgear.
The new instrument cluster on the updated Pulsar NS160 could be a colour TFT unit, similar to the one on the Bajaj Chetak Premium that was recently launched in India. Meanwhile, spy pictures also suggest that the left-hand side switchgear will feature a multi-function button, possibly to control the functions of the TFT display.
Other than the updated switchgear and TFT display, the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 could also get a new headlamp. That said, the rest of the motorcycle is expected to remain unchanged. The Pulsar NS160 will continue to be powered by a 160.3cc single-cylinder engine that will be linked to a five-speed gearbox.
With these updates, we expect the new Pulsar NS160 to cost around Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000 more than the outgoing model. Once launched, it will rival the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, and the Yamaha FZS FI.
