- Officially unveiled last week
- Prices are yet to be announced
- Gets a new fascia and digital console
After the unveiling of the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 recently, the motorcycle has started reaching dealerships in select regions of India. The Chakan-based brand is yet to announce the price of the motorcycle and it is expected to be slightly higher than the outgoing iteration which starts from Rs. 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The biggest change received by the motorcycle is the inclusion of a fully digital console, as against the semi-digital unit on the previous model. This negative LCD dash shows a plethora of information and offers Bluetooth connectivity. Once paired to the rider’s smartphone, this display gives access to call and SMS notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. Furthermore, Bajaj has also given the bike a subtle visual makeover by bestowing it with a new, more robotic-looking headlamp and layered, dual-tone flyscreen.
Mechanically, the 2024 Pulsar NS200 is expected to remain almost identical to the previous iteration. Powering the bike is a rev-happy 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 24.13bhp and 18.74Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a steel perimeter frame, it rides on 17-inch wheels that are suspended by USD forks and monoshock and come to a halt via a single disc at both ends.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 mainly competes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Honda Hornet 2.0.
