Bajaj Auto is all set to launch the biggest Pulsar in India, the NS400. The company has released quite a few teasers of the new Pulsar NS400 on its social handles, while the motorcycle was recently spotted at a dealership yard as well. While we wait for its official launch, here is everything you should know about the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400.
Design
Bajaj has successfully kept the design of the new Pulsar NS400 under wraps. However, a recent leak and official teasers have hinted that the styling could be a mix of the N250 and the NS200. For instance, it will feature an N250-like headlamp with thunder-style DRLs, while the rest of the styling is expected to be similar to the Pulsar NS series.
Features
Feature-wise, the Pulsar NS400 will get an LED projector headlamp, a fully digital cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS notifications. Moreover, it will also feature a USB charging port, slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS.
Engine Specifications
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is likely to be powered by a Dominar 400-sourced engine to keep the costs in check, as the new 399cc motor from the 2024 KTM 390 Duke is expected to escalate prices significantly. That said, the 373cc, liquid-cooled motor makes 39.42bhp and a peak torque of 35Nm on the Bajaj Dominar 400. We expect a slightly different tuning for the NS400. Meanwhile, the engine will come paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Cycle Parts
On the hardware front, the Pulsar NS400 will use golden-coloured USD forks and a gas-charged monoshock for suspension duties. The motorcycle is likely to run on 17-inch wheels, while its braking hardware could include disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Launch Date and Price
Bajaj Auto will launch the largest Pulsar in India on 3 May, 2024. Considering that the Dominar 400 is the flagship offering from Bajaj, we expect the Pulsar NS400 to be positioned below it with a price tag of under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
