- Passion theme added to the list
- Other choices include Triple Black, Passion, and Sport themes
- Priced at Rs. 2,85,000
BMW Motorrad India has updated the G 310 R Roadster with the addition of a new paint theme for our market. This KTM 390 Duke-rivalling motorcycle is now listed in four colours in India – Triple Black, Passion, Sport, and the newly added Passion theme.
Notably, all paint themes feature identical decals that are visible on the headlight cowl, radiator shrouds, fuel tank, and rear panels. The Triple Black option, however, packs a relatively stealthy look with an all-black theme for the body panels, frame, sub-frame, and alloy wheels. In comparison, the rest of the paint options feature red paint for the chassis and the alloy wheels.
The visual changes are limited to the colour upgrade. Meanwhile, the latest iteration of the G 310 R retains a single-pod headlight with a body-coloured cowl, a muscular fuel tank, radiator shrouds, an engine cowl, a step-up saddle, side-slung exhaust, and five-spoke alloy wheels. The hardware, too, remains unchanged, and the 2024 model continues to use 41mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock to handle the shock absorption duties. The anchoring tasks are handled by 300mm front and 240mm rear single discs, while the safety net comprises a dual-channel ABS.
Further, it also retains the 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum output of 33.5bhp at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 28Nm at 7,500rpm. Notably, this motor now complies with the newest emission standards and the E20 fuel requirements.
The BMW G 310 R rivals the likes of the KTM 390 Duke and Honda CB300R in the Indian market. All paint options are available at Rs. 2,85,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
