- Streetfighter V4 is priced at Rs. 24,62,400
- V4S is priced at Rs. 28 lakh
- Both models will be available in showrooms from 12 March
Ducati India has launched the latest iteration of the Streetfighter V4 and the V4S. The Italian marquee’s flagship naked motorcycle will be available at the dealerships from 12 March. However, the pricing has been revealed for both models and the standard Streetfighter V4 costs Rs. 24,62,400 while the Streetfighter V4S is priced at Rs. 28,00,000 (both ex-showroom, pan India). The price difference between the two variants is a result of the additional goodies that the S model comes with.
The 2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 retains the sharp and sporty design for 2024 as well. It gets a pointed LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, and a slender tail. Meanwhile, the appendages remain unchanged. The bike continues to look just as desirable as it has been since its debut. The base model can be bought in the Ducati Red colour while the Streetfighter V4S is offered in two options – Grey Nero and Ducati Red.
Powering the 2024 Ducati Streetfighter is a 1,103cc V4 liquid-cooled engine and it makes 208bhp at 13,000rpm and 123Nm at 9,500rpm. The power figures are identical for both variants. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a bi-directional quickshifter too. The list of electronics on the Streetfighter V4 includes ride modes, power modes, cornering ABS EVO, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control, auto tyre calibration, launch control, and more.
The distinguishing factor among the two variants is the hardware setup. While the base model rides on fully adjustable Showa Big Piston front forks and a Sachs monoshock, the V4S gets Ohlins NIX30 front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock — both electronically adjustable. The braking duties are handled by twin 330mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
Even the wheels for both variants are different. Ducati has equipped the Streetfighter V4 with 17-inch alloy wheels but the V4S uses aluminium units. These come wrapped in 120/70 front and 200/60 rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tyres.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 rivals the BMW M 1000 R and the Kawasaki ZH2.
